The latest development

After Millenium Financial Services failed to fund our transaction, Christian Nahaboo introduced Arkadia as the next prospective creditor. On 30 January 2026 he sent us arkadiacredit.com. For weeks we were told that Arkadia's questions or approval were expected. We contacted the company directly but received no reply, no compliance questions, no term sheet and no funding.

The Arkadia address now leads to a parked domain rather than an operating finance website. Search engines had previously indexed the site under the name Arkadia Capital Partners, describing a Cayman private-equity business offering financing involving demand bank guarantees. Its disappearance does not by itself prove fraud. It matters because Balkan supplied the site as evidence of a real prospective creditor and that promised process produced nothing.

What Balkan's own publicity says

A Business Review article published on 7 September 2025 presents Balkan Capital Assets as a well-capitalised US financier able to deploy funds within 30 to 45 days. It says that Cayman investment pools and structured lending platforms are managed by an entity called Arkadia Comercial. It also names Golden Touch Investment Bank and UBB Investment Bank as strategic banking partners supporting Balkan through guarantee instruments and co-financing agreements. Balkan's current website separately claims USD 1.3 billion in supporting capital and says it can deploy its own balance sheet.

These claims do not match our experience. Our transaction moved from Golden Touch to Millenium and then to Arkadia, yet no Balkan-linked creditor ever funded it. Nor is it clear why the article calls the Cayman entity Arkadia Comercial while the vanished website used Arkadia Capital Partners. Balkan should identify the exact company, registration number, regulator, ownership and relationship between those names.

The names require exact verification

Arkadia The domain provided to us is now parked. We have found no evidence that arkadiacredit.com or the entities called Arkadia Comercial and Arkadia Capital Partners are connected to established firms using similar names, including Arcadia Capital in Miami or the US broker-dealer Arcadia Capital Partners LLC. Genuine businesses with similar names must not be treated as proof of identity or affiliation.

Millenium The mfs.bz website describes Millenium Financial Services LLC as a Belize company that facilitates and administers cross-border credit facilities. It is not Bank Millennium in Poland or Millennium Management. Millenium was presented to us as the creditor, rejected drawdown over custody and did not complete funding even after we located a bank willing to hold the guarantee under a custody arrangement.

Golden Touch Golden Touch Investment Bank remains listed as a licensed Labuan investment bank. However, Wise currently marks the BIC used in our transaction, GTIVMY2LXXX, as deleted from the SWIFT network and no longer valid. Balkan should explain what authenticated messaging route and correspondent arrangements support its claimed banking relationship.

UBB Investment Bank UBB also remains listed as a Labuan licensee, but Bank Negara Malaysia and Labuan FSA completed enforcement action in August 2026 concerning failures to report 53 suspicious transactions promptly and a customer-due-diligence failure. This is regulatory enforcement, not evidence that UBB is currently sanctioned. Balkan should publish written confirmation that UBB authorised it to describe the bank as a strategic partner.

Why this strengthens our warning

We paid USD 75,630 and GBP 442,400. We were given purported SWIFT transmission evidence, required to sign documents said to be necessary for progress and later asked to acknowledge full performance, yet the promised facility was never funded. After payment, Christian Nahaboo's availability deteriorated sharply despite our extensive calls and messages. The later introductions to Millenium and Arkadia did not cure the failure.

We believe this was a sophisticated bank-guarantee scam built around credible-sounding company names, institutional language, polished websites and purported banking relationships. That is our allegation based on the transaction and the evidence available to us; it is not a finding by a court. The parked Arkadia domain, the unexplained identity mismatch, Golden Touch's deleted SWIFT code, UBB's enforcement history and Balkan's unverified capital claims reinforce the need for extreme caution and independent verification.

Before paying fees or signing acknowledgements, prospective clients should verify the exact legal entity, registration number, licence scope, current SWIFT status, source of funds, signatory authority and written commitment of the institution that will actually lend. A familiar name, logo, article or website is not enough.

Right of reply
